Also posted here are the diary entries of Warren G. Bean, my great grandfather. Warren G. Bean lived from 1866 till 1949. He was a farmer and a Mennonite bishop for the Franconia Conference of the Mennonite church in Montgomery County Pennsylvania. My hope is that others might take some inspiration. Warren started farming on his own in the late 19th century; I started in the late 20th.

March 10, 1898
Cloudy in morning awhile then clear and pleasant.
A.M. finished thrashing wheat. P.M. Hauled manure on first piece of truck patch; also ploughed the same. Then started to plow for oats. I made or dug some garden.
