Cloudy, rainy and began to hail towards evening then turned into snow.
In market.
Essays on a life in agriculture. Also posted here are the diary entries of Warren G. Bean, my great grandfather. Warren G. Bean lived from 1866 till 1949. He was a farmer and a Mennonite bishop for the Franconia Conference of the Mennonite church in Montgomery County Pennsylvania. My hope is that others might take some inspiration. Warren started farming on his own in the late 19th century; I started in the late 20th.

Sun. Dec. 25, 1898
Clear and pleasant yet cold.
At Meeting in Worcester. B.C. Wismer read Matt. 2. H. Wismer intro. He said that if the members would have their mind burdened as we ministers they would not come as light minded as they do. As we stand between God and man, etc.
I spoke from Isa. 42 -9.
Paul and Mrs. John Hunsberger were here for dinner.
